Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Victory Park and laid flowers at the Memorial Complex “Ode to Fortitude”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of state, the memorial, erected on the head of state’s initiative, reflects our people’s great hardships, their struggle for peace, and their significant contribution to victory in the war. During these holidays, the park is incredibly crowded.

May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor is widely celebrated nationwide. By the Presidential decree, the participants of the Second World War are encouraged. Their health is under constant attention.

Representatives of ministries and agencies in the Armed Forces system and government organizations attended the ceremony. They also laid flowers at the Memorial.
