The President of Uzbekistan meets with the Chairman of the State Grid

As part of the program of a working visit to Beijing, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the State Grid Corporation of China, Xin Baoan, at his residence.

Electric Grid Corporation of China is a leading global company in the industry, leading in the Fortune Global 500 ranking.
It has extensive experience in implementing large-scale projects for constructing and operating power transmission networks, including in foreign countries. Assets reach $800 billion.
Issues regarding the implementation of promising projects with the participation of this Chinese company were discussed, including the construction of high-voltage power lines and the modernization of infrastructure facilities, with the introduction of advanced engineering solutions and high technologies.
Particular attention was paid to training qualified specialists for the energy industry of Uzbekistan.
An agreement was reached to adopt an action plan to accelerate joint projects.
