The President of Uzbekistan received the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia

Yesterday, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation led by the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who is in Tashkent to attend the International Industrial Exhibition “Innoprom”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

“Innoprom” is the largest exhibition organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, aimed at the joint promotion of advanced technologies and modern developments in various sectors of the economy. The event is being held in Uzbekistan for the first time.

According to the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the current issues of further enhancing full-scale practical cooperation, strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia were discussed at the meeting.

Denis Manturov informed the President of Uzbekistan about the results of joint work on the implementation of large cooperation projects with the participation of leading industrial companies and banking-financial institutions of the two countries.

At the meeting, the main attention was paid to building up multifaceted interaction at the level of business and regions, enhancing collaboration and implementing new projects in different sectors of the economy.

It was emphasized that the successful conduction of the Innoprom Exhibition in Tashkent should serve the achievement of these tasks.
