The President of Uzbekistan visited Navoi region

Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Navoi region in order to get acquainted with the creative work on the ground, major projects and dialogue with the people, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to UzA, first, Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the voters of Navoi region.

Then the President visited the “Ishga Markhamat” monocenter in the city of Navoi.

The center was created in accordance with the resolution of the Head of the state on August 11, 2020 “On additional measures aimed at attracting entrepreneurship, increasing labor activity and vocational training of poor and unemployed citizens, as well as ensuring employment of the population”. Here, training is organized based on the requirements of the market for about thirty professions in services, construction, agriculture and technology. Educational and practical classes are equipped with the necessary equipment, computers, and other equipment.

The Head of the state watched the practical exercises, talked with the youth.

“We create such conditions for our unemployed citizens to master the profession and take a worthy place in life”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said. – Use this wisely, master the profession well, and then you will not look for a job, but it will look for you, you will have a high income. A well-read, skillful, professional person will always be appreciated, regardless of his age. I wish you to become such valuable people.

It was noted that there is a growing need for qualified specialists in the industries, therefore, those trained in the center have high prospects for further employment.

“We are building large enterprises, many of them employ specialists from abroad. Our goal is to make sure that our youth work, our people receive a salary. Therefore, do not waste time in vain, do not give indulgences to either yourself or your mentors until you master the profession perfectly”, the President said.

The institution operates based on a public-private partnership. The state creates conditions, provides scientific and material support. Classes are conducted by practitioners, entrepreneurs, representatives of factories, who then hire graduates.

A monocenter diploma is equivalent to a diploma issued based on the results of three years of study in vocational schools.

The center also offers courses in English, Russian, Japanese and Korean.

In the Palace of Culture “Farkhod” in the city of Navoi, the Head of the state met with representatives of the national cultural centers of the region.

“As is known, we pay special attention to strengthening unity and consent in our country. What has changed in your life as a result? What problems, what suggestions do you have? I came to talk to you about all this”, the President said.

The multinational Navoi region is a vivid example of friendship and mutual understanding between different peoples. Representatives of Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Tajiks, Russians, Koreans and many other nationalities live as one family and make a worthy contribution to the development of the country. There are 8 national cultural centers in the region, all conditions have been created for them. Education in schools is conducted in 7 languages.

Representatives of different ethno-cultural communities attending the meeting noted that broad conditions have been created for them to receive education, work, and preserve their culture. They informed about their achievements and the success of their children. It was emphasized that separate cultural centers were allocated, and July 30 was declared the Peoples Friendship Day in Uzbekistan.

“At the meeting with voters, I suggested celebrating this bright holiday next year in Navoi region”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. – We also plan to build a Friendship Park in the city of Navoi in 2022 as a symbol of the unity of our multinational people.

The President noted that the policy aimed at strengthening the atmosphere of mutual respect and consent between all nationalities and ethnic groups living in our country, creating the necessary conditions for various religious confessions, will be consistently continued.

Thereupon, the Head of the state completed his visit to Navoi region and returned to Tashkent.
