On January 18-19, Uzbekistan chaired a virtual meeting to agree on the Cooperation Strategy of the SCO Member States for connectivity development and the creation of efficient economic and transport corridors.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the transport agencies of the member states of the organization.
The development of the document was initiated by the Uzbek side at the Bishkek SCO Summit in 2019.
The parties confirmed their common intention to actively work on the project, guided by the understanding of the importance of this issue on the SCO agenda.
