The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey: We are ready to actively use the opportunities of friendship groups and inter-parliamentary ties

Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva met with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop, in Madrid, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the upper house of Parliament, the parties discussed issues of cooperation and expansion of practical interaction of inter-parliamentary ties.

Mr. Mustafa Şentop congratulated on the successful holding of the Presidential elections in Uzbekistan and noted that the parliaments set clear goals for themselves to strengthen the foundations of bilateral relations. “This will further develop interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries”, he said.

The parties noted that the task of the parliaments of the two countries is to provide legislative support for all agreements reached at the highest level and to keep up with the pace of contacts and interaction demonstrated by the leaders of states.
