It is with a deep concern the incoming information was received in the Republic of Uzbekistan about the escalation of the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, which has led to the victims from both sides.
We call on the sides to an immediate cease of the clashes, to take the joint measures on stabilization of the situation and abstain from the actions, which may lead to a further growth of the tension.
Today, all of the issues and existing problems must be tackled only by way of negotiations and consultations in the spirit of the relations of the centuries-old friendship, good neighborliness and partnership, which pertain to the brotherly peoples of Central Asia.
In its turn, the Republic of Uzbekistan stands ready to render a comprehensive assistance in the soonest resolution of the emerged situation.
