The visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Iran outlines new priorities for bilateral cooperation

Yesterday, the President of Uzbekistan has completed his official visit to Iran, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of state, during the visit, the President of Uzbekistan held talks with the President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi in a contracted and expanded format and a meeting with the Supreme Spiritual Leader of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

Following the high-level talks, a solid package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements was signed on the most relevant areas of bilateral cooperation.

Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Abbas Aliabadi and other officials saw off the President of Uzbekistan at Mehrabad International Airport. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev returned to Tashkent.
