On April 19, the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov held a briefing.

Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov informed that it is planned to hold an expanded meeting on the development of the service sector.

As is known, this sector plays an important role in the development of the economy and ensuring the employment of the population. In the developed countries, this sector provides most of the GDP. Uzbekistan will also use new opportunities and identify additional amenities and benefits for the full functioning of this sphere.

Media representatives were also briefed on the international agenda. This week the President will receive credentials from the new ambassadors of Bangladesh, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, the European Union and the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.
