The Embassy of Uzbekistan organized an event at the Mushaireb City M7 Center dedicated to the country’s cultural heritage, crafts, and tourism potential.

Representatives of Qatar’s ministries and agencies, the country’s business community, the diplomatic corps accredited in Doha, and the media attended the event.

The guests got acquainted with the exhibition “Crafts of Uzbekistan: Traditions in Fibers”, organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan. The exhibition opened as part of the Design Doha Biennial on February 24.

The event participants were shown videos about Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, cultural diversity, historical cities and their unique heritage, and national costume and cuisine.
