Uzbekistan and India business aims to boost cooperation

Yesterday, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) organized virtual Uzbekistan – India Business Forum, reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.

To the event the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A.Ikramov, Co-Chairman of Uzbekistan – India Business Forum, FLO President Harjinder Kaur Talwar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Mr M.Prabhat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India Mr D.Akhatov, Chairman of the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan M. Umarov, as well as business people of the two countries attended

It was noted that today’s joint event will create additional opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial and long-term relations between business representatives of Uzbekistan and India.

At the forum, participants became familiar with promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in trade-investment spheres.

The parties also discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
