Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Presidents will meet in Khiva

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will visit Uzbekistan on April 5.

During the talks, which will take place in the ancient city of Khiva, current issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and enhancing multifaceted collaboration will be discussed.

Particular attention will be paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade turnover, developing cooperative ties in key sectors of the economy, practical implementation of infrastructure projects in transport and energy, and intensifying humanitarian exchange programs.

The heads of state will also discuss issues on the regional agenda.
