Uzbekistan and the USA are interested in maintaining regular dialogue on Afghan settlement

The Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held negotiations on February 18th with the Ambassador of the USA Jonathan Henick, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation on Afghanistan. Mutual interest in maintaining a regular dialogue on the Afghan settlement was emphasized. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting international collective efforts to improve the situation in Afghanistan.

The American side welcomed the inclusion of the international transport and logistics hub "Termez Cargo Center" in the UNHCR global supply network.
