The President of Uzbekistan signed an order “On measures to prepare for the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the city of Samarkand in 2022”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The document sets goals for the preparation and holding of conferences, forums, festivals and other international political, economic, cultural, tourism and sports events in Samarkand in 2022-2023, at a high level.
According to the order, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be entrusted with attracting experts and specialists from foreign countries, including China, who have extensive experience in organizing major international events, as well as compiling a list of translators who will be invited to the Summit.
The functioning of the website www.sco-summit2022.uz will be established. Its constant replenishment with relevant information related to the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the SCO will be ensured.
According to the document, proposals for the creation of the Summit Media Center will be developed to ensure its widespread coverage in international and local media.
