“Uzbekistan – business space in Eurasia”

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain and the Eurasian Business Alliance organized an online roundtable discussion “Uzbekistan – business space in Eurasia”.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Spanish businesspeople involved in business development in the CIS countries and interested in operating in the market, experts, as well as heads of Russian companies that have implemented investment projects in the country.

The participants discussed issues of implementing joint trade and investment projects in Uzbekistan in various areas, which may be of interest to Spanish companies and where Spanish technologies and experience have a competitive advantage. It was noted that there is huge potential in this direction, which could be used to establish mutually beneficial, both bilateral and multilateral business relations.

Heads of the Russian companies TechnoNICOL Valery Mirzin and Foamline Artur Sogomonyan informed in detail about the large investment projects being implemented in Uzbekistan, the conditions for doing business in the country and the favorable conditions created for investment.
