Uzbekistan – Croatia: A new page of cooperation

International Business Center hosted the First Uzbekistan – Croatia Business Forum.

The forum, organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, was attended by heads of relevant ministries and agencies, business circles of Uzbekistan and more than 50 well-known Croatian companies.

The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov stressed the importance of intensifying cooperation between Uzbekistan and Croatia, building trade relations based on preferential access to European markets within the framework of the GSP+ system, using all available opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in the context of global digital transformation.

The guests were informed about the conditions created in Uzbekistan for entrepreneurs, the main aspects of the country’s investment and industrial potential, the development of digital technologies, education, pharmaceutical production, the food industry, and agriculture.

B2B and B2G meetings took place.

The forum has become an essential platform for exchanging ideas and identifying new areas of cooperation. The agreements will improve economic relations between Uzbekistan and Croatia.
