First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Akmal Saidov has met with the delegation of the Czech Republic led by Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament Tomáš Hanzel.

It was noted that the visit will serve to further enhance Uzbekistan – Czech parliamentary relations, as well as develop the already established ties.

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Tomáš Hanzel emphasized that in recent years, as a result of the rapid development of relations between Uzbekistan and European states, in particular with this country, a new period of mutually beneficial cooperation has started.

The parties also discussed the acceleration of the ratification of international agreements to further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic in the trade-economic, political, cultural-humanitarian spheres, including the further expansion of cooperation within the framework of inter-parliamentary ties.
