Uzbekistan delegation attended the 10th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries, in Turkestan.
According to the Lower House of Parliament, the event was attended by the Chair of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin, Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Ali ghizi Gafarova, Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Talant Mamytov, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop, First Officer of the National Assembly of Hungary Márta Mátrai, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Inoyatov.
Documents of the Standing Committees and new model laws were discussed. The participants agreed to hold the next regular meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries in Kyrgyzstan.
Following the event, Turkestan Declaration was adopted.
