Uzbekistan delegation visits sights in Dushanbe

Dushanbe hosted a scientific and practical conference on “The contribution of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to strengthening friendship, good neighborliness and trust, opening a new page of Tajikistan – Uzbekistan strategic partnership”.

After the main events of the conference, trips to the sights of the city were organized.
Participants of the event visited the Ethnographic Museum of the National Academy of Sciences. Exhibits testifying to the almost 3000-year history of Tajikistan – stone, pottery, remains of non-ferrous metal, handicraft products, items reflecting the traditions of ancient statehood, unique archaeological finds – aroused great interest.
Then the guests visited the alley named after Alisher Navoi, which was opened in Dushanbe in 2018.

The next sight of the visit, Gissar fortress with a 2000-year history, stands out among the country’s historical sites.
