Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov has met with the Ambassador of Iran Hamid Nayyerabadi.
The current issues of Uzbekistan – Iranian agenda were discussed, including the results of the implementation of previously reached agreements. The main attention was paid to cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, including the SCO.
The parties reviewed the schedule of the upcoming joint events at various levels.
Views were also exchanged on the situation in Afghanistan, as well as the humanitarian situation in that country.
