Uzbekistan, France establish cooperation in the field of alternative energy sources

Yesterday, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and Assystem Engineering and Operation Services of France have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The document has been signed by Deputy Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodjayev and CEO of Assystem Engineering and Operation Services Stéphane Aubarbier.

The document is signed to study the prospects for the implementation of joint projects and expansion of strategic partnership in Uzbekistan. Several priority areas of cooperation are established, including in project management, engineering design and consulting on renewable energy sources, including solar, wind and hydrogen. It is also planned to support the development of energy conservation systems.

The interaction is aimed at promoting the energy sector of Uzbekistan in new areas of energy use and the transition to decarbonization.
