Uzbekistan, France Inter-MFA Political Consultations took place via videoconference

Yesterday, the 12th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the French Republic took place via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, the delegations were led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov and Director of the Directorate for Continental Europe of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Frédéric Mondoloni.

The current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, possibilities of intensifying political dialogue and inter-parliamentary ties, strengthening trade-economic, investment, financial-technical cooperation, and intensifying cultural-humanitarian exchanges were discussed during the negotiations.

Proposals for improving the contractual-legal framework of bilateral relations, establishing and strengthening ties between leading cultural, educational, and medical institutions were considered.

The sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues affecting the interests of the parties.
