Uzbekistan, Georgia plan to encourage cooperation between businesspeople

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov has met with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natela Turnava.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. In this context, it was noted that in January-July this year, the growth of bilateral trade exceeded 28 percent.

The parties agreed to carry out measures aimed at enhancing interstate relations. Within the framework of this activity, it is planned to take steps to promote interregional cooperation, use the opportunities of exhibitions and fairs, as well as encourage cooperation between businesspeople of the two countries.
