Yesterday, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel Zehavit Ben-Hillel, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the upper house of Parliament, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation and reforms carried out to ensure gender equality.
According to Tanzila Narbayeva, in further deepening cooperation with Israel in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, military and military-technical spheres, as well as in security issues.
At the meeting, issues of attracting investments, modern technologies and advanced knowledge of Israel for modernization of the economy, the transition to an innovative development model were considered. Measures to ensure gender equality were also discussed.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue building up inter-parliamentary partnership on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
