Uzbekistan, Japan to hold a conference on accession to the WTO

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan organized a videoconference with the participation of the President of Nagoya University of Economics Haruo Saburi to further develop cooperation between the higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Nagoya, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Issues of organizing a scientific and practical conference on Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO with the participation of authoritative representatives of expert, government and scientific-educational circles of Japan were discussed.

Haruo Saburi noted that the Nagoya University of Economics is ready to cooperate with Japanese universities and government circles to conduct this event.

The prospects for further expansion of cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan and the organization of online lectures on economic diplomacy by Associate Professor of Nagoya University of Economics Alisher Umirdinov in April-May this year also discussed.
