The Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Asilbek Khudayarov, met with members of the delegation from Kazakhstan, led by the Head of the Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexei Tsoi.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov attended the event.

The guests visited the Central Consultative and Diagnostic Polyclinic No. 1 of the Main Medical Department under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that mutually beneficial cooperation in healthcare between the two countries has been consistently developing in recent years. More than 100 Kazakhstan people are studying in Uzbekistan’s higher medical educational institutions.

Since the 2024/2025 academic year, a joint educational program has been established between the Bukhara State Medical Institute and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Masterclasses and demonstrations of surgical operations with the participation of colleagues from Kazakhstan have become a tradition in Uzbekistan’s medical institutions. Minister of Health Asilbek Khudayarov made proposals for further development of cooperation in this area.

Future plans were discussed during the meeting. In particular, Alexey Tsoi provided information about the management system at the Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These best practices will help to increase the capacity of staff and the quality of treatment.
