Uzbekistan manufacturers take part in the Fruit Logistica-2022

Berlin hosted one of the world’s largest exhibitions of agricultural products Fruit Logistica-2022, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

With the assistance of the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, 10 large companies from different regions of Uzbekistan presented the potential of an agro-industrial complex in the country. They offered a wide range of fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products, various seasonings, dried fruits, and others.

A large number of businesspeople from Germany, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Italy, Poland, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey, Israel and other countries visited Uzbekistan stand and showed great interest in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with suppliers of Uzbekistan’s agricultural products.

During the talks with foreign partners, prospects for cooperation in various fields were discussed. Following several meetings, agreements were reached on signing contracts for the supply of Uzbekistan products to European countries.

With the assistance of the Embassy, Uzbekistan delegation members also held meetings with the leadership of large German wholesale and retail chains, such as Lidl, EDEKA, REWE and Kaufland, and visited leading fruit and vegetable processing companies.
