Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov was elected Vice-President of the 24th Session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, representatives of Uzbekistan and Hungary were unanimously elected by the results of a vote of the Organization’s Regional Commission for Europe as vice-presidents of the 24th session of the UNWTO General Assembly to be held in Morocco in October.
