On June 15, 2020, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov took part in the Second Preparatory Meeting of the 27th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum, via videoconference, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The event was attended by OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Lee Yong, representatives of international structures and OSCE participating States.
Views were exchanged on the issues of promoting security, stability and economic growth in the OSCE region by preventing and combating corruption through innovation, increasing transparency and digitalization.
The Uzbek side delivered a speech on “Modern innovative approach in the fight against corruption – the experience of Uzbekistan”.
