Uzbekistan's position in international rankings to be improved

On June 2, 2020, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Decree on improving the position of the country in international ratings and indices, as well as introducing a new systematic mechanism for working with them in government bodies and organizations.

According to the document, a Republican Council for working with international ratings and indices will be created.

The Council will conduct a systematic analysis of the level of socio-economic, political and legal development of the country, ensure that the fundamental transformations carried out in various spheres are taken into account in order to improve the position of the country in the international rankings that are priority for Uzbekistan, eliminate problems that impede the effectiveness of activities in this direction, and others.
