Uzbekistan's Prosecutor General meets with Russia's Chairman of the Investigative Committee

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan N. Yuldashev has met with the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation A. Bastrykin.

The guest was informed about the large-scale reforms carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in all areas, especially in the judicial and legal spheres.

A. Bastrykin spoke about the activities of Russia’s Investigative Committee, international cooperation, plans regarding the development of relations with Uzbekistan.

Participants of the event noted the consistent development of cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Professional contacts were established, the legal framework is expanding.

The parties discussed issues of mutual interest, exchanged views on further development of interagency cooperation.

Following the meeting, Cooperation Agreement between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, as well as the Interdepartmental Cooperation Program for 2020-2021 were signed. The execution of these documents will give a new impetus to development of bilateral cooperation.
