Uzbekistan studies UAE experience in creating a government accelerator

Delegation of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the United Arab Emirates.

CERR managers and senior staff took part in the Government Accelerators Training Workshop organized by the UAE government, as well as practical interaction in implementation of the government accelerator in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the methodology of the UAE’s government accelerator and case studies developed by Harvard University specialists were studied.

The accelerator of the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the initial stage identified priority issues that should be studied within 100 days by relevant ministries and agencies.

CERR leadership held a number of meetings and negotiations with UAE government members.

Following the visit, an agreement was reached between the CERR and the UAE government, represented by the Government Accelerator under the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, for provision with comprehensive assistance in organizing the activities of the government accelerator in Uzbekistan, including by attracting foreign experts on pressing issues.
