Uzbekistan to increase the supply of textile products to Egypt

On January 11, Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association held talks with representatives of Egypt’s Octagon for Textile Industries. The event was attended by employees of the Textile Promotion and Marketing Agency, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Egyptian entrepreneurs highlighted the growing demand for Uzbekistan textile products in the Arab world. It was also recognized that serious attention is being paid to the quality of Uzbek cotton. Representatives of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association provided detailed information on the efforts of the government of Uzbekistan aimed at the development of the textile industry, investment potential and advantages of the industry.

Following the talks, it was noted that practical work had begun to increase the volume of supplies of Uzbekistan textile enterprises’ products to the Egyptian market, and confidence was expressed in further development and expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.
