Uzbekistan to produce mechanical ventilation devices

Production of mechanical ventilation devices will begin in May this year. The production site will be built in Bektemir district of Tashkent.

3 million USD will be allocated in the first stage for production localization. At the second stage, it is planned to invest 6 million USD and create 130 jobs.

Slovak – Russian – Uzbek joint venture has been created to carry out this work. The company will produce high-tech medical equipment. The project will accelerate the process of import substitution in medicine.

A center for components and repair services for the company’s products will be created. Unique, modern mobile services will be established here.

It is planned to sell products to neighboring Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
