Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan Foreign Ministers hold talks in Ashgabat

Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, in Ashgabat, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the current state and prospects of further intensifying Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, transport-transit, water management, cultural-humanitarian and other areas, expansion of interregional contacts were discussed during the talks.

Issues of interaction between the parties within the framework of international and regional organizations were also considered.
