Vladimir Norov holds virtual talks with the SCO Secretary-General

Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov held virtual talks with the SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The parties discussed the preparations for the upcoming events within the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the SCO.

The main attention was paid to the preparation and holding of a high-level meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States in Uzbekistan in September 2022.

An agreement was reached on strengthening joint work and active participation of the SCO Secretariat in the substantive content of ministerial meetings and the summit, coordination of relevant draft documents and joint work to promote relevant initiatives.
