WHO Regional Office for Europe is providing technical support to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan to strengthen the capacity and preparedness of national laboratories to detect COVID-19.

WHO expert mission has been organized to strengthen the capacity of laboratory services and implement a quality management system in Uzbekistan laboratories. The mission carries out its activities from September 9 to October 15, 2020.

The mission includes a Better Labs for Better Health expert from the WHO Regional Office for Europe and WHO international laboratory experts.
