The Ministry of Innovative Development jointly with the World Bank is developing a project on “Modernization of Uzbekistan National Innovation System” project worth $50 million.
The project consists of the following components: “Improving research excellence and commercialization”, “Promoting innovation in the private sector”, “Supporting STI policy-making and reforms”, “Project management, monitoring and evaluation”.
Environmental and Social Management Principles, Labor-Management Procedures and Stakeholder Engagement Plan have been developed at the preparation stage of the project.
