At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on October 28, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, accompanied by his spouse, arrived in Uzbekistan for an official visit.
At Tashkent International Airport, the distinguished guest was welcomed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Aripov and other officials.
According to the visit program in the city of Tashkent, high-level talks will be held during which prospects for further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia will be discussed.
Aleksandar Vučić will also participate as an honored guest at the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which begins this week in Samarkand.
