Yesterday, an iftar gathering marking the Holy month of Ramadan was held at the “Samarkand Steak House”, located in the largest city of the American state of Pennsylvania, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The gathering was organised at the initiative of the leadership of Uzbekistan and continued a longstanding tradition of hosting spiritual and educational events for compatriots living abroad.

The organisation of the iftar reflects the consistent policy pursued by the Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, aimed at supporting Uzbek citizens regardless of where they reside, strengthening national unity and preserving cultural and religious values.

The event brought together representatives of the Uzbek diaspora, community organisations, civic activists and compatriots living across the United States. Participants highlighted the importance of solidarity, mutual support and maintaining close ties with their historical homeland.
