Uzbekistan annually implements a jobs creation and employment special program, developed by the government and approved by parliament. According to foreign experts, it is difficult to find any country where such purposeful work was conducted to such a systematic manner.

Guy Ryder, General Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO):

— Uzbekistan worthily passed its way to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with the ILO. The country has demonstrated its openness to the international community, the high responsibility in fulfilling the obligations assumed under the ratified conventions of the International Labour Organization. Country’s work in this direction can serve as a good example for other countries, especially in Central Asia.

Lee Ki-Kweon, Minister of Employment and Labour of the Republic of Korea:

— Uzbekistan is one of our strategic partners. We are actively cooperating in the field of medicine, education, science and culture. I would especially like to note the project is implemented jointly with the Ministry of Labour to establish a center for training in Tashkent. Practically all its students during the first month after graduation are employed, and therefore - the project’s purpose pursued by the ministry has been achieved. I am encouraged by the fact that soon the same center will be opened in Samarkand and other regions of Uzbekistan.
