Fergana regional council of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan is conducting various cultural and educational events under the motto “Dear compatriots, may every day be Navruz!”.
More than a thousand students, youth at the age of 16 to 30, took part in the marathon “Navruz – 2018”, organized in the regional center.
A marathon was attended by over a thousand young boys and girls
This sport holiday once again demonstrated activity and enthusiasm of youth. Among the young boys, the victory was won by Fayzullo Pulatkhujayev, Ilyos Elmurodov, Davronbek Oripov, among the girls – Ziyoda Usmonova, Snejana Kochkina and Durdona Rakhmatullayeva. They were awarded prizes from the organizers.
Demonstrative performances of military servicemen were also held under the motto “Defense of the Motherland – a sacred duty”, which were greeted with stormy applause of the gathered. The festive program that took place in the Theater and Concert Palace named after Islam Karimov turned into a great celebration.
