A new project to promote development of women's entrepreneurship

Uzbekistan Business Women Association “Tadbirkor ayol” has developed a new strategic project – “Program for improving the system of business education for women in Uzbekistan in 2018-2020”.

To date, one of the main problems hampering the development of women’s entrepreneurship in the country is the low level of effectiveness of women’s business education system. In particular, due to the lack of a systematic approach to the way of life of women, their role in social life, national mentality, the provided business education does not give the expected results.

Complex work is required on organizing an integrated system with mandatory post-training and practical support for solving this problem.

Based on many years of experience and the available potential, Uzbekistan Business Women Association “Tadbirkor ayol” offers implementation of a comprehensive information and education project on training women in business basics. The project is called “Program for improving the system of business education for women in Uzbekistan in 2018-2020”.

The program consists of four training modules: “Business planning and financial literacy”, “Effective business management”, “Competitiveness and product promotion in the market”, “Features of doing business in Uzbekistan: woman, family, business, traditions and modernity”. The project will be implemented in close cooperation with relevant state and public organizations.

This program will be implemented in 180 districts and cities of the country.

With implementation of this project, 78,000 women will be provided practical assistance in business basics, more than 50,000 new jobs will be created, rural women in difficult economic and psychological situations will be provided with work, psychological and economic assistance by attracting them to profitable activity.

From this point of view, this project is important in development of women’s entrepreneurship in the country, creating new jobs, and the Business Women Association of the country very much hopes for the government’s support of this project.
