On April 4, 2019, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the International Aerospace Committee (IAC) and the Digital Trust Foundation, which implies the strengthening and development of mutual cooperation, as well as exchange of information, the press service of the National Agency of Project Management informs.

The parties agreed to work together to attract funding for high-tech projects in the field of aviation, space, energy and land resources implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, cooperation is provided through the exchange of experience and information, holding mutual consultations as part of their participation in the implementation of the Memorandum.

One of the first projects included in the Memorandum will be importing technologies from the Swiss company Tudor Tech, which is the world’s first and only manufacturer of X-ray scanning technology for aircraft and other types of transport as a fast and reliable method of security monitoring. The technology is an effective tool for identifying the facts of illegal transportation of explosives, weapons, drugs, cash, and provides 100% detection of the above threats.

In the framework of the meeting, a joint decision was taken on the implementation of a project to build a plant in the Jizzakh region, producing scanners in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Produced scanners will ensure the safety of airports not only in the region, but throughout Asia. In implementing this ambitious project, the International Aerospace Committee (IAC) will assist the Fund by attracting full investment from Switzerland.
