The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has organized a roundtable discussion in Tashkent to deliberate on the development of the labor market.
At the event it was noted that for the advancement of entrepreneurship and the provision of employment of the population, special attention is placed on the allocation of loans to the graduates of educational institutions for the establishment of entrepreneurial activities.
”We are working on the employment of unemployed youth, first of all, the graduates of professional colleges, as well as other socially vulnerable categories of the population through the organization and conduct of specialized fairs of free workplaces", said the First Deputy Director of the Republican Scientific Center for Employment and Labor Protection Bоtir Alimuhamedov. “We support the entrepreneurial initiatives of the young people who are entering the labor market for the first time, wishing to organize their own business. Measures are taken to involve them in family business and handicrafts”.
At the same time, the participants of the event noted that the outdated, inefficient forms and methods of work are still used in the solution of problems of employment of the population, the practice of distorting the real situation in the labor market was not abolished, a superficial approach to such important social issue as the employment of graduates of higher and secondary special, professional educational institutions is observed.
Specific proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the situation in this area were elaborated.
