The solemn welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, paying a state visit to Uzbekistan, was held at the Kuksaroy Residence on August 23.
A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the President of Azerbaijan on the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan were played.
The leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.
After a joint photographing ceremony, the heads of state began negotiations in a contracted format.
