ABDULAZIZ KAMILOV MEETS WITH HEAD OF UNRCCA PETKO DRAGANOV

On 11 August, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the head of the UN Regional centre for preventive diplomacy in Central Asia (UNRCCA), Petko Draganov, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the international conference "Central Asia – the main priority of foreign policy of Uzbekistan".

The sides exchanged views on the topics discussed at the forum.

The meeting precedes the upcoming international conference to be held in November in Samarkand under the auspices of the United Nations "Central Asia: one past and one future, cooperation for sustainable development and mutual prosperity". The event is set to see foreign ministers of CIS countries, as well as heads of leading international and regional organizations.

The meeting also discussed other issues on the regional agenda.
