The republican stage of the contest "Exemplary Leaders’ Council" was carried out in Navoi. The event was organized by the Kamalak children’s organization of the Kamolot Youth Civic Movement.
The competition, which was held for the first time this year with the participation of schoolchildren, fosters friendship and cohesion among youth, increases its social activity, and supports the activities of members of the leaders’ councils.
Fourteen teams from all regions of the republic competed in such areas as "Our opportunities!", "Intellectual ring" and others. Members of the councils of leaders told about their activities, new initiatives to address the actual problems of children, demonstrated their knowledge in the socio-political, legal, spiritual and educational spheres.
As a result of the competition, the council of leaders of the Kitab District of Kashkadarya region took the first place.
The winning team was awarded the Kamalak Cup and memorable prizes. In May this year it will take part in the traditional conference of the children’s organization Kamalak.
