An electronic portal of information and analytical agency of Kyrgyzstan “AKIpress” published an article dedicated to International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, held regularly in Tashkent.
The source noted that today the joint forum is one of the most important instruments in the promotion of industrial projects and localizing.
“The event is traditionally divided into two stages – spring and autumn. The territorial fairs have been held in all regions of the country from April to June, as well as six branches in Tashkent. They were attended by almost 90 thousand people”.
The information emphasized that more than 4,800 companies presented over 22,000 types of products in the framework of these events. Contracts worth 377,5 billion UZS were conducted on the territorial fairs, as well as contracts for the export of products worth $180,8 million. During industrial branch fairs companies signed an agreement with amount of 617,9 billion UZS.
In addition, according to the edition, contracts for delivery in 2015 products worth 8,6 trillion UZS were concluded at the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange last year, which is 38% higher than previous figures.
“In a current year, 20 thousand square meters of space allocated for the exhibition of fairs and exchanges in “Expocentre”. It includes four pavilions, two atriums, three outdoor exhibition area and two conference rooms”, inform agency writes.
In conclusion, the article noted that the volume of export contracts exceeded $7,2 billion last year.
