“ALISHER NAVOI, AN OUTSTANDING MASTER OF PEN, OPENED EXTRAORDINARY IMAGINATIVE WORLD OF UZBEK LANGUAGE TO THE WORLD”

A priceless heritage of the great poet Alisher Navoi, its contribution to world culture and human civilization is still reverent admiration of people around the world. His life and works are studied by scientists and experts, and materials devoted to the classics of national literature are published in the leading mass media of our country and abroad.

In particular, recently the electronic portal of the Baltic news service (BNS) posted an article dedicated to the 575 anniversary of Navoi. It stated that through his poetry Uzbek literature lyricist lifted to a new high level.

The portal also informs its readers about the ongoing work in the country to perpetuate the memory of the great poetry and humanist, conduct a detailed study of his work, papers publication.

“At the initiative of the Head of Uzbekistan 1991 was declared the Year of Alisher Navoi. Along with this, a complete collection of the poet’s works in twenty volumes has been published. Over the past period numerous majestic monuments to the great ancestors of the Uzbek people were built in the country and abroad. A large number of international conferences, devoted to the works of Alisher Navoi, were held in the republic and foreign countries”, - BNS noted.
